Booking Conditions

Thank you for making a booking with us.

A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm a reservation. 

  • 50 % deposit of total booking value.

  • One night stay only - 100 % deposit apply.

  • Balance is payable IN CASH on arrival

Regret - Credit Card Facilities during office hours available in our office.

WE are SO fortunate NOT to have LOADSHEDDING. 

The following Terms and Conditions apply to all guests at Ciara

  • Normal CHECK-IN time: AFTER 13:00.  

  • Check - in after 18:00pm, only if prior arrangements have been made.

  • No check - in will be made after 22:00pm. This is necessary to ensure the comfort and well being of other guests.

  • Normal CHECK-OUT time: BEFORE 10:00. (otherwise an extra day's accommodation charge may be charged.) 

  • All bookings and accommodation types subject to availability.

  • TV,  tv-box and Netflix in each chalet.

  • Please arrange in advance if you need more than one parking space. Normal: 1 parking bay per chalet.

  • NO visitors allowed if not agreed and arranged with us well in advance.

  • Ciara Lodge accepts no responsibility for any injury/accident/losses/damages to you or your possessions or any of your guests, during your stay.

  • All damages/losses to any piece of guesthouse property, fixture or fitting, will be for the guests account.

  • NO music, noise, or excessive use of alcohol allowed - CIARA lodge is NOT a PARTY VENUE.

  • NO drinking or GLASS Items allowed around or near the swimming pool.

  • Minor children must be accompanied by an adult when using or playing around the swimming pool.

  • Bath towels not allowed at swimming pool - please bring your own swim/beach towel.

  • The management reserves the right of admission of any guest or visitor.

  • The guesthouse shall have a lien over the luggage, clothing and personal possessions of any guest in regards to any claim against the guest what so ever. Group bookings will have to pay a  breakage/cleaning deposit.

  • Changing of accommodation type according to availability or certain situation reserved.

  • No pets allowed. We have our own cocker spaniel dogs to enjoy.

  • NO SMOKING allowed inside any chalet or room.  

  • (should guests fail to comply with this house rule, a cleaning fee of R200 will be charged.)

  • Please confirm your estimated ARRIVAL TIME at least one day before your arrival (Phone or SMS).

Cncellation Policy

  • If cancelled or modified up to 23 days before date of arrival - 25% of the total price of the reservation will be charged.

  • If cancelled or modified up to 17 days before date of arrival - 50% of the total price of the reservation will be charged.

  • If cancelled or modified up to 11 days before date of arrival - 75% of the total price of the reservation will be charged.

  • If cancelled or modified later or in case of a no show - the total price of the reservation will be charged.

  • - All refunds: a R150 adminfee will apply.

  • - In case of an amount less than R1000, it will be kept as a credit for future visits.

 

NOTE:   NO Refund for

  • Non-/ late arrivals

  • Early departures

  • Reduction in the number of guests
